ACR®: Armor Card Ribbon.
The ACR® range is made up of a number of resin qualities, intended for use in Thermal Transfer printers fitted with "True Edge" print heads. They can also be used in Thermal Transfer printers fitted with conventional (Flat head) print heads.
The ACR® qualities are particularly well-adapted to plastic card printing (badges).
Printed images possess an excellent print quality and extremely high mechanical strength (friction, scratching, handling, etc.).

AMR®: Armor Multi-use Ribbon.
The AMR® range was developed for ATB - also known as ticketing - applications. The principle of multi-use is that only part of the ink layer is transferred, thus allowing the same ribbon surface to be used up to 5 times, depending on the type of use.
The AMR® product range complies with this type of short service life applications.
The multi-use can only apply to printers that have been specifically designed for this type of ribbon.
